And the big part of course, is that the MCU films stay true to who the characters are. I mean..... do I really need to explain where Snyder went oh so horribly wrong?

This is the biggest reason for Marvel's success. Kevin Feige understands the characters he's in charge of, he understands what makes them work and how to transition that to film.

Meanwhile Snyder just tried to turn everyone into Batman. And then also kinda didn't really understand Batman and at best read some of the comics and thought the imagery was cool.

Wonder Woman is pretty much the only hero DC mostly got right. Well, until all the gratuitous ass shots in JL at least.....(though, I haven't watched Shazam or Aquaman, which from my understanding at least somewhat get them back on course).

One butt shot.

Iron man wasn't a drunk or playboy
Cap has less personality (either one)
Donald Blake is nonexistent
Hulk is a joke in every movie
Black Widow just now getting a movie
Spider-man is Iron jr
Scoot Lang over Hank
Ultron is Tony's "son"
Thanos cares nothing about death and rarely smiles.
Shuri is more popular than T-challa
Hawkeye is worthless.
Marvel has the advantage that they are less known so they can get the basic stuff down or ignore a lot of the characters traits. Superman has to be perfect and no one got that right not even Donner. Snyder Batman was the best he's been since Noland and way more than JL/Whedon.

A Batman that straight up murders people, with it not being treated like this is a major issue for his character,

That's the reason Clack was investigation Batman and Superman wanting to stop Batman. Alfred even mentions this. Batman has killed in every movie except Adam West and B & R.

Because they have hundreds of millions of dollars poured into advertising and marketing. Nearly everything you like and consumed is influenced by the giant corporations who produce it. They have it down to a literal science (manipulating you)

Well we already had a a lot of batman and superman movies. Even the spiderman movies are less interesting now. Ever since Spiderman 2, they have been modiocre at best.

And Iron man 2 and 3 were crap.

Wonder woman was only a success because it was a woman power film. Same with black panther. Both mediocre films.

The actual really good super hero film was Batman Begins. Dark Knight was pretty good too.

Thats a dumb take. BvS and JL were plastered everywhere, they just didn't understand the law of dininishing returns until it was too late. The shared DCEU died on Snyder hill.

You're comparing ONE MOVIE to decade long franchise saturation across multiple different media platforms? And you want to talk about dumb takes? LOL

Yeah BvS and JL are two movies not one, but lets use more examples there were 4 movies before JL, thats 5 movies.

All 5 movies had blanket advertising yet it didnt matter because only one of those movies was good, thats why they gave up on the shared universe. Thats not a hot take thats literally what happened.

Only JL failed

SS did the best out of all of them for what it was.
