Really felt like they could have rolled credits about 4-5 times over the last 30 minutes.

I mean I liked and enjoyed it, but it just went longer than it should have. No clue what they should or could have cut out, but by the end I was just waiting for it to finish.

The casino planet section could have been cut shorter.

The casino planet section could have been cut out completely.

FTFY. That section alone made the movie too long. So f***ing terrible.

Agreed. I thought the casino story arc was so dumb. That's where the movie dragged for me

If you think about it with the casino section...
It was inconsequential because Benico Del Toro wasn't able to help them disable the tracker.

Yeah, the pacing was a bit off; it felt like there were two or three climaxes to the movie, starting with Rey and Kylo Ren's showdown.

I liked it overall though. While it was kind of long, I enjoyed the casino planet section too for bringing some of that alien culture weirdness into the movie. That's a very Star Wars thing to do.

Literally the only thing of consequence to come of Finn and Rose's plot is to give those force sensitive kids at the end the Resistance ring. So, from that standpoint, I have to agree with you.
I never wanted to be a serial killer, anyway.

While I do think the casino bit could have been cut a tad, it's purpose was to give a more of a reason why the Resistence is fighting. Why someone like Rose would join the resistence (see her back story she tells Finn) and to give hope to those kids, to ultimately give weight behind what Leia says at the end about how the Resistence can rebuild. They have everything they need to do so.

What makes it even worse is that entire arc literally results in NOTHING
