It's such a shame that Percy Jackson didn't gross enough for they to make adaptations of other books in the series like Battle for the Labyrinth or House of Hades.

Do they adapt novels into movies anymore (do people read novels?) or just comic books?

Olaf Stapledon.

I don't care which one.

I mean, obviously Sirius and Odd John are ideal, since they have straightforward narratives and utterly compelling characters, but if someone told me that Lynch or Malick or Miyazaki freaking SOMEBODY were trying to make First and Last Men or The Star Maker, I'd probably scream like a girl.
Lucky for you, I'm a dog lover.

Wheel of Time, but that might be going the television route.

My wife would love it if the Artemis Fowl series got adapted too.

They've been trying to get it made since 2001 with numerous directors attached and dropping out, but it looks like it is really going to happen this time. The first movie (based on the first 2 books) is scheduled for August 9, 2019.

I would like to see L.J. Smith's The Forbidden Game series become movies.

I would also like to see The Westing Game, but that will probably have to be broken up into two parts, because a lot happens.

Magic Kingdom For Sale/Sold series.

Also while I do know there's a TV series, kinda surprised none of the Shanarra stuff has been adapted to movies.

Or for that matter any of his other stuff (like the Running with the Demon series).
