Anybody who believes this is idiotic. Bad reviews didn't even matter. The films already pulled in over 400 million.

Its not everyday you'll see articles on this, and big websites are talking about it as well so no, its not that idiotic

the movie did well overall which was a surprise after how viral the review criticism was

An article from 2011, an article that basically points out how idioitic the notion of paying off critics is, and a random post about someone wondering if some people getting pr swag might impact their reviews from last September.

Great sources that don't prove anything

2 articles from a couple days ago

quentin tarantino went public and said how disney screwed him out of a contract and forced a major theater to play star wars instead of hateful eight on a certain day, and you think disney won't go out and bribe critics to kill the competition?

this is the closest possibility. but i think it has a bigger impact when such PR stuff ISN'T done. IE someone getting butthurt about not getting a promised set visit. this I saw happen with transformers. compare ain't it cool's TF3 review with their tf4 one. like night and day. the former practically glowing and the latter basically calling fans retards.

but I don't get the point of posting the second article. in that its literally a long rant AGAINST the idea of bribery.

If Disney was paying off reviewers to condemn BvS, they must be broke after last weekend.

While I'm not surpised by the first 2 links that critics would do sometype of damage control after BvsS opening weekend, (of course it's there opinion) but I'm not going to belive the whole conispercy theory of Disney buying off all reviewers (this actually would of hurt them and the Marvel Brand if BvsS had flopped opening day weekend)

Personally, I think it is more of the Art House deal and that critics (if not a few people in Hollywood) just want to have the quote "superhero Bubble" burst faster then anything, which isn't going to happen anytime soon.
