I got to Silver, so switched story missions and I am getting one shoted and enemies turned into sponges. I have KI of 40 and even with Coop it’s freaking hard.

maybe this is the way. But the jump from Bronze and Silver seems drastic.

It's supposed to be a big jump, but it should be pretty manageable. When you get gear at higher level it'll get easier.

As you start unlocking more gear you can tinker with the item properties, it'll cost earnings, and probably a lot to get the roll you want but when you sword property is way of the flame and you've got +20% ultimate attack damage and 25% injured resolve gain to quickly rebuild your special attack bar it gets easier. Some stories are better suited to different classes though in my opinion

I guess it depends on your play style, If you want to support from a distance with heavy fire damage or get in close and help support another player holding down a camp and switching to sword play.

It's not my build, but for techniques I'd do fire arrows, double damage head shots, piercing arrows and 50% body shots attack, that's a pretty balanced set up for a new hunter. Fire arrows for extra damage and crowd control, double damage head shots when you have to get up close and personal, piercing arrows to penetrate the shield waves and coupled with body shots having a 50% chance to turn into a head shot that's pretty forgiving if you aren't to good with quick aiming on the fly.

The stone skipping bow is a must.

It really is luck of the draw as far as charm stats go, but I'd be building for fire damage buffs, resolve buffs or ultimate damage, the idea of the hunter to me is to be in the mix but from a distance to use the bow effectively

I had fun with the game through Silver. Gold and Nightmare seem unnecessarily hard, but I guess I’m also not as good as some other players lol.

I'd say that gold and nightmare are a bit long as far as survival goes with nightmare being a challenge.

I also think that how you experience them comes down to the quality of the team you're with and the techniques you put with your character. I was in a team of 4 samurais this morning which handicapped us a bit but it was more fun than having to sign into another game over and over because b**** quitters don't see a Ronin in the party

dont make the same mistake i did and reroll your gear too much before 110ki

wasted so much honor that wasnt worth it as the increase in ki levels is quite fast

also you can save scum perk rolls by using online cloud save or usb stick.
