I'm trying to decide if I should get this on Switch or PS4.

I know the Switch version only runs at 30fps. Does the PS4 version run at 60fps?

The Switch version also has gyro aiming, does the PS4 version have gyro controls?

If the PS4 version has those features, I'll get that version for sure.

Owning the Switch version, I will say that it's 30FPS on Switch (docked or not), and 60FPS on PS4 (if you don't believe me there's a few 60FPS trailers).

I can't say for sure about the gyro controls, but the DS4 does have that capability so I'd imagine it's there too.

I watched a youtube video of the PS4 version, and it does indeed have the gyro controls. And yes, as you said, also runs at 60fps. So I'll definitely get that version.

That said, this is definitely an outlier regarding gyro controls on PS4. Despite the controller being fully capable of it, so few PS4 games support it. Including games like Doom, which does support it on the Switch. It's absolutely maddening and baffling. I started a game of Horizon Zero Dawn after playing Breath of the Wild, and I struggled like crazy with the aiming of her bow. It felt stunningly bad in comparison to Zelda's aiming controls.

always get the ps4 version of a game when there's a switch version out as well. don't give up that 60fps for portability.

Yeah, I buy most multiplatform games on PS4, specifically because of frame rate (which is far more important to me than resolution). If there is no significant difference though, I buy on Switch. Mostly retro style games like Sonic Mania or Celeste.

Does this game support the Move controller? Seems like it should since it's not that different from the joycons.

Actually this should have VR support considering it's an enhanced version of Gal*Gun VR.

My guess is, it will in the near future.

On a Non-Pro PS4, the framerate occasionally hitches when combat gets busy. It's caused me to miss a couple shots.

Nothing terrible though,

THIS!!!!! I didn't know there were going to be framerate issues since the game doesn't look all that graphic intensive. I had to find out the hard way. Don't let 60 fps die!!!!!

It's kinda f***ed up that VR isn't there. Not in GG2, not GGVR.

I think I know why: Sony seems to have suddenly implemented a No Touching policy in VR and by "touching" I mean any sort of interaction with girls that would physically effect them.

I did a video on this on my YouTube channel explaining why I think this. It mostly has to do with the game Happy Manager, a VR game that had the VR removed before release and partially added back in:

So I guess I'm getting a PC VR headset soon...I hear the Lenovo Explorer just dropped in price.
