I don't know whose idea it was to have Wario shake his butt in the player's face in the hub world in Warioland the Shake Dimension. (The game have been fun from the little I have played so far.)

The intro FMV for Dirge of Cerberus still looks good. (No idea why the materia thief is there though.)

Need to watch Spirits Within since I got it for Blu-ray. Only of 1 of 3 I haven't touched yet.

Brotherhood was disappointing in comparison with Nyx and his gang.

wew, Powerpingas Grils was psychic.

Also I wonder if Him would have received a negative reception in 2019... you know, given that's he's an evil Transvestite and all that.

Did you know it’s possible to want to help others with all that you have from the bottom of your heart and still be shown to be dead wrong in doing so? That’s the lesson the last five years have taught me. Hubris lines the path of good intentions.

Maybe this happens ever so often so people won’t forget and will willingly give up their rights to bear arms easier

It worked in prewar 1930s Nazi Germany

People who wish to do harm to others will find ways, regardless of whether they have access to guns or not. Remember the guy who set fire to the anime studio in Kyoto recently?

It's true that we are becoming desensitized to the violence, but when there are no clear answers on how to prevent it, and it happens so often and so randomly, I'm not sure how else we can respond.

while it is true that violence will still happen....it happens far less in other countries. the us has had 249 mass shootings this year alone. that is not taking into account all the other acts of senseless violence in this country.

I have my suspicions as to why the United States feels like a more violent place to live these days, but unfortunately, I don't see any clear path to a solution right now. I just wonder if the more we react emotionally to these threats, the more we are making the problem worse. Obviously, I'm not saying that people shouldn't be horrified when their fellow human beings are gunned down. That's an understandable reaction. However, when we use these atrocities to lash out at everyone whom we feel was at fault for letting this happen, we just create the very animosity that fuels these flames.
