I only hate the Golden Monster siege because it's a f***ing mess.

If you can get 16 or even 8 players on the field together that would make a refreshing change. Kulve and Safi siege are a joke. Bring back 4U guild quest. Honestly siege that can't be completed in one go is bad design. Leshen and Behemoth are great because you can simply join sos instead of finding a decent hub.

I find the idea of naming them sieges to be a bit weird. Only Kulve has cannons at the start and they aren't needed. Lao and Jhen are more like a siege in comparison.

The definition of siege is to surround a fortification and cut off all escape roots and supplies or defend the fortification but Safi and Kulve aren't fortifications, have free movement, can flee freely and the latter we don't kill.

Would have been better just to call them raids since that's basically what it is.

It'd be kinda cool if there was an offline version for these kinda things where you could get NPC Hunters to come with. Kinda like Trusts in XIV.

I guess it works if you have friends to play with?

I don't. And I'm at the mercy of randos for most of the multiplayer content. Behemoth was a nightmare. At least, there was a way to make Kulve Taroth rooms that people would join, but it was still hard to have a full 16 player group.
