Well since i have played both a lot due to friends not having a Ps4 or a Pc that can run the Pc version i wanted to just say i prefer console version and her is a breakdown on teh differences and then why i chose console.

Console pro's:
Larger helpful community
All current content
Feels more fluid playing
Still a lot for me to do

Pc's Pro's:
Faster load times
A take all button in rewards
somewhat better graphics
more customization controls
faster communication

I rather have the console because this community is larger and more helpful, Pc seems to lack that and a lot seem to just jump into battles and not dodge muhc(wasted a lot of investigations). Also the content release is slow. they were supposed to have i believe up to Lunastra at launch if not Kulve, and Pc will not get Kulve till November, so aside from leveling up and grinding out stream stones and jewels not much for me to focus on and its get very dull. while Ps4 i have access to a lot more gear to practice with and work on. It feel more fun to me. I would lvoe if they added a take all button, but as long as there is a good player base its not a big deal

You didn't mention the other best part of PC apart from "way more often than not" runs better...

Free online play!

No point in playing online when everyone is cheating anyway.

I have 250 hrs and more.

Prolly 30% of those times I played with randos.

Never seen a cheater

I'm sure they exist... But it's a small minority.

My friends played some randoms too and they never encountered any cheaters as well

PS4 save scamming is a thing, as are PS4 damage hacks. what specifically can you do on PC that you can't do on PS4?

also, online is basically pointless anyway. randoms suck on both versions, and only Kulve and behemoth need online.

the community is essentially the same for both in regards to asking for help on gameFAQs.

PS4 has better content, and the slow updates on PC is frustrating.

what does "feels more fluid playing" even mean?

imo, the faster load times are a huge deal. the quest is basically loaded instantly, whereas on PS4 it took about a minute. If you're completing quests quickly you almost spend as much time loading as questing on the console version.

If you have spent over 70 hours playing with randoms and never saw a single cheater, you are either the luckiest person alive or a liar.

Considering you claimed to have played that long with randoms without sustaining long term brain damage (before Kulve is even out BTW), I am leaning towards the latter being the more believable scenario. Not to mention, you only have to look at the leaderboards to encounter cheaters.

I guess I did confuse playing online with randoms. Majority of cooperative play I did it's actually with friends and people on Discord groups

I probably only did about under 20 missions with randoms

@Rhiethreal I've also yet to encounter a cheater... short of maybe cheating to get decorations (which you can also do on PS4, and which you cannot determine from their set). Decoration cheating doesn't affect multiplayer hunts that much anyway.

How does one confuse friends and organized play with randoms?
