I read about a game engine, or maybe computer programming language, called Stencyl and it said that you can make cute little Mobile games for free! Does anybody know anything about it or perhaps program using Stencyl?

I downloaded the program, but I haven't done much with it yet. The coding system is not as intuitive as it pretends to be, and the sprite creation tools are sub-par.

But if you want to play around with it, have fun:

Yeah but could you help me out with it if I had questions on how to code in it?

How powerful is the language? Can you make 3D games with it or just pixel games? And what quality are we talking? Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, or Nintendo 3DS quality games made using Stencyl?

It seems like no: http://community.stencyl.com/index.php?topic=27352.0

Stencyl is for 2D games.

Although the thread is old, I suspect this hasn't changed. Then the thread is derailed by a troll, which is a little amusing.

And what quality are we talking? Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, or Nintendo 3DS quality games made using Stencyl?

From the stencyl homepage:

Publish Everywhere
With extensive platform support, you can rest assured that all players will have access to your game. Today, Stencyl supports:

iOS (iPhone/iPad)
Android
Windows
Mac
Linux
Flash
HTML5 (experimental)

So no, you most likely can't build stuff for the platforms you're asking about. You'd need specific devkits for that, and some serious programming chops to glue a stencil project to such devkits. As for the quality, I think you're better off looking at the http://www.stencyl.com/game/showcase/ page to get a good idea.
Everything has an end, except for the sausage. It has two.

That wasn't what I was asking. I was asking what quality it was up to, I wasn't asking if I could program those games using it.
