Lol @ “We’re doing things differently this time.”

Is “doing things differently” slang for “we left behind this flop, please understand”?

It’s so sad. Monster Hunter World was an amazing game. Not to mention that DMCV and RE2 are both GOTY contenders, and they only released in Q1.

Why is Capcom’s fighting game division so damn trash?
Official Yu Narukami, Incineroar, Parasoul, Sombra, Black Widow, RE5 Jill, Kaede Akamatsu, Kamala Khan, Rehgar, Orisa, R.Mika, 2B, and Power Girl everywhere.

who knows. Maybe we will finally get some news regarding Street Fighter 5 at this year's E3 event.

Just another cameo costume from another series.

This is why live games are so trash, not only does it feel like a job having to login regularly just for events and rewards but the whole system is built around selling DLC which fighting games already have a bad history with and when you don't have any, yeah dead game.

Also of note is that other live games I've played (all free games incidentally) give you a surprising amount of ways to feel like you're cheesing the micropayments, be it through events that give you bonus currency or free rolls on older items, to the point that I actually kept returning to those games months after I had dropped them out of fear of missing content (when done right it can be effective). If you design a game with a micropayment mini economy you're building it around constant content rewards and events as your hook. SFV's only hook is the name.
If life was meant to be easy, then everyone would be doing it.

Being a live service game killed SFV's potential. Unfinished for ages, then you had to keep throwing money at it (kind of) to get content that at one time would've been included.
And nothing of value was lost.
Without their dreams men would have fallen upon and devoured one another long ago, and yet every dream is an illusion, and every illusion is a lie.

Yeah, that. Capcom don't call it a game, in their official documentation it's called "the most progressive and user-friendly content delivery system".

It's a shame, because nobody actually asked from that.
