Surely you gamers are simply late to the flock. Either way, this gem deserves cover and discussion. Someone, comment. Quick...

I'm on the fence of buying this or Celeste, maybe both eventually, one minor concern is I feel like this game will destroy my analog stick(s) lol

Celeste is much more similar to Super Meat Boy while Dandara is a metroidvania like, both are gems tho so you might wanna get 'em.

Tbh I didn't like my first hour playing Dandara, I was so surprised w/ the controls and I was expecting a plain metroidvania game...then I started loving this title. Timing and spacing are needed in order to avoid death but your brain is required as well, any fight and puzzle can be much more easier if you think carefully on what to do. Be wild and it'll turn in a bullet hell in no time.

Here's a quick video review, not gonna spoil or go into details just a few minutes of gameplay explaining the main mechanics. =)

Toucharcade did a great write up:

Says Switch is overall the best version but controls are better on mobile.

I liked the game at first but then really started to dislike it as i got towards end game (i didn't even i was heading towards end game either...game is actually short if you don't die so much).

I did manage to beat the game but I only did so because of money put into the game. I really just wanted to put the game down.

The jumping and attack mechanic get really irritating after the first couple areas. Too many cheap hits, cheap deaths, and cheap areas.
