Just pointing out some uses of the HD Rumble that I noticed.

1) When you're in the tank you can feel the enemies explode from whichever side of you they are on.

2) The wave that crashes through the water dungeons, you can feel it getting closer and stronger then weaker and further as it moves past you.

3) You can feel the elevator moving up or down, it feels like it's running up (or down) the length of the controller.

I like it. I really do. But it feels like it's always on max. Even when you're walking by one of those ceiling turrets. It takes away from the water crashing among a few other things. I hope there's a patch to give us different options.

Hmm... the controllers will rumble if you are holding a charged shot.

The elevator, at least, is really subtle.

The charged shots seem to max out rumble. I tend to enjoy holding a charged shot so the maxed out rumble irks me.

I'm used to the Gamecube controller's rumble, this isn't even close that strong, so it doesn't bother me at all.
