SCVI doesn't have the best character creation system, but it's still been pretty fun to piece together costumes for the main cast and my own custom characters. I tend to prefer "costumizing" characters instead of recreating them as-is 'cause I suppose no recreation will ever be a perfect match for the real thing.

Isabella "Ivy" Valentine as "Poison Ivy"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EP-Oc4zfbcM
Seemed a pretty obvious choice, especially since one of her weapons resembles a long-stem rose. The costume itself is fairly basic, but I was able to turn her skin green through the use of makeup and stickers (the flowers in her hair was fun, too).

Quintessa (Azwel) as "Lady Death"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItFrXwdcoRc
Originally created in SCIII and then ported over to Dungeons & Dragons' World of Greyhawk, being a villain with snow-white hair and skin and glowing eyes, Lady Death seemed like an appropriate costume choice; Voldo's mask accessory was a good enough substitute for the skull accessory and blends in well with Ivy's outfit, and I even attempted to recreate the logo of Chaos! Comics onto the back of her cloak.

Den Blüdsoul as "Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers)"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JXQbv8t13s
I honestly liked Carol's short-haired look in Avengers: Endgame, so considering "Denise Âmesang," a French vampire I used to draw (and my account's namesake), is a short-haired, tough-bodied, cynical blonde, I decided to dress her up as Carol… although Power Girl was my second choice. =Þ If the top gets destroyed, Carol's black-with-yellow-lightning-bolt "Warbird" costume is worn underneath, and the choice in sword was meant to represent Carol picking up a piece of debris and swinging it around.

Talim as "Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan)"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFgmD4ySqtM
After watching Maximilian Dood's playthrough of The Avengers game — being my primary exposure to Kamala, though I think I've got one comic with her from GameStop? — she seemed like a pretty chill character and I thought her look would be cute for Talim; putting the stars at the end of her scarf was such a pain, though…

Talim as "Darna"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dekSW3EzQk
…and then a thought occurred to me; since Talim is from the Philippines, why not dress her up as one of their classic superheroes? (It'd be nice if I could remove the flowers from the cloth, since I also used it for a Mortal Kombat "Jade" inspired costume for one of my customs.)

Morgan Powys as "Yoko Littner"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n07La3-C2gY
Another vampire I used to draw, albeit Welsh-born/American-raised, I noticed they both had yellow(-ish?) eyes so I figured… why not? In SCV Morgan was dressed as Black Widow and in VI she was previously dressed as Poison Ivy before I switched it over to Ivy herself. I had to ignore the chopsticks in her hair 'cause you can only have three accessories, which meant one for her vampire fangs, one for the "skull" barrette, and one for the gun.

Amy Sorel as "Sailor Mini Moon"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzLqBK2xxhw
Considering her big, poofy pigtails and magic wand weapon, this one was a no-brainer. I had also given her a similar costume in SCIV, but due to accessories that came with Nier's 2B I could also recreate a very creepy Luna-P. =3

Ariel Le'ammas as "The Little Mermaid"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ERhawfcu00
A bratty angel I used to draw, she was previously dressed up as Supergirl in SCV so I wonder why it took me so long to create this obvious costume; the dress is designed to break apart to reveal the "mermaid form" underneath — if her thigh-highs had been destroyed, you would have seen torn, green-scaled leggings that was to represent her human legs bursting out of her mermaid tail… but, that means "Sebastian" would have been destroyed, too. =Þ Also, turns out one of her taunts is, "I want more!"

Karen 'Akamu as "Psylocke" …technically?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfvJMcPTpFA
An older video of my cutesy devil in her human form, an early inspiration for her initial design way back when was an illustration of Psylocke from one of the "Marvel Swimsuit Issues," so I decided to style her bikini after it, including the flower in her hair and recreating the dagger strapped to her thigh.

Talim as "Earth-chan"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Glgw0_7tI1M
Okay, only a comic/animation character 'cause people have drawn/animated the meme, but… it was too cute not to do. =3

2B as the "Wendy's Mascot"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJXdBCBGaXI
%&@# it. I saw some fanart of Wendy that reminded me of 2B's dress. 2Beefy!

…I really should try and draw again, but it's been years and I can't seem to bring pencil-to-paper anymore.

These are all pretty neat looking. It reminds me of when I would do something similar on my old PS2 copy of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. Hell, I still technically do this with Mii fighters on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

I made a Ghost Rider in SCV back when I still had a copy. I should really get back into the series.

I had that, too; the fighting style customization was neat, but also a pain to have to go back-and-forth between the Creation and Training modes to ensure everything "worked." I was eventually able to put together a fighting style-to-weapon style transition combo, though.

It's only a matter of time before she finds her way into Smash, too, eh? Also, interesting note about 2B in SCVI — her particular proportions are actually tied to her outfits, not to her body; so if you dress her up in anything else she reverts to a default "Create-a-Soul" body, and any female character dressed in her outfits will have her body reshape itself to match her proportions. It's kind of freaky, to be honest.

It's honestly disappointing that some aspects of SCV's Creation system is better than VI's — notably the fact that the brighter a sticker's color, the more opaque the translucent portions become; for example, in Quintessa's "Lady Death" cosplay, I overlayed a "white skull sticker" with a "black skull sticker." The black skull is a relatively clean line art, where as the white skull is little more than a skull-shaped silhouette, since all of the translucent pixels that should be blending into the underlying texture come out completely solid.
