I voted 70s though personally I like comics from a lot of decades. But DC 50s and 60s comics aren't my forte. 30s and 40s Batman was good but then along came the comics code authority in the 50s ruining DC comics til the 70s.

Marvel at least had some darker stories in the 60s compared to DC's nothing bad can happen cause we're controlled by the comics code authority. I'm pretty sure Stan Lee ignored some of their guidelines cause an early Spider-Man story had Betty Brant's brother getting shot to death by a mobster he owed money to. I don't see DC doing that at that time. Most fans today probably couldn't stand reading 50s and 60s Batman and Superman. I know I can't.
My cousin: I didn't like Terminator 2. It didn't have good character development.
My brother: Oh! V for Vendetta didn't have good character development!

Why did you use 2000s and The Aughts? They're the same thing.

Anyway, 80s were the best and most creative period in the industry (only the 60s are more creative, but they weren't really that good, lmao).

80s was the best for superhero comics. Hard to say who wins overall when you consider contenders like 90s Vertigo or contemporary indies.

80's.

I can see arguments for the 90's with the indie blow-up but I don't think most of those were good and parts of the industry were just awful (in the actual sales way)

Tens or teens. “Aughts” implies zeros, as in 00s.
