"The only completely legitimate way to acquire a digital edition of a 'Cerebus' trade online is at cerebusdownloads.com where all proceeds go to me, Dave Sim, and background artist Gerhard," Sim wrote in a scanned fax. "If you believe all content on the Internet should be free, you are welcome to download all of the other 'Cerebus' trade paperbacks for free at any website that does that sort of thing."

Pretty cool of him

This is actually cool of him. I'll go support the artists.
The party's always better with Gordon FreeGin around.

How convenient. At what volume did Dave Sim turn completely insane, so I can stop reading before that?
But I could be wrong...

Nice. I still wish this was on comixology so I could have it all in one place.

Regardless, free is free so no complaints from me.

I'm not sure I'm interested in Cerbrus. I saw him cameo in an early Mirage TMNT volume I own, but I've read his series gets really weird and preachy later on.

That said, if I did decide to read it, I'd rather pay for it than pirate it. And I'd rather have a physical comic in my hand. I'm not a big fan of reading them digitally. I suppose for older series though, it's either that or miss out (or pay through the nose for an older volume being sold for too much on ebay, lol)
