It does kind of suck, portable Mystery of the Emblem would be pretty good.

At least the Switch is region free. You can download the Super Famicom Online thing with a Japanese Nintendo account.

I was going to say, they could at least give us the untranslated version, but I guess we can get it that way. It's still more work than it should be. Accessibility is a good thing.

Eh, sorta expected. Aside from the fact that they aren't translated, the JP side of Nintendo's online stuff has always been better.
I'm pretty sure they had a lot of the old FE games on the Wii U EShop and even the classic FF games too.

Even Binding Blade and the GBA FF ports for Wii U VC.

Of course, because heaven forbid the West get to experience the older games given they drove the large majority of Three Houses' sales.
