What FE game would you recommend? Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Why is it always Dorcas. Sure, he's not the deepest of characters but he does have a decent character.

He really isn't. And the reason i bring him up is because he is emblematic of a good deal of FE7s characters being bland and one note, to far greater a degree than people constantly accuse Awakening and Fates characters of being.

He shows up early too, and his name sounds derpy, so no one can pretend to not know or remember him.

I already said he's not a particularly deep character. But he's not quite as bland as people say.

There's a game for GBA released internationally as "Fire Emblem".

Play that, and the games that came before it. Do not play any of the games that came after it.

You might like Conquest, if you're a hardcore strategy game player.

Also ignore anyone who tries to say Conquest is hard. It's a blatant lie that becomes immediately apparent as soon as overpowered Camilla is handed to you on a silver platter very early on. The only valid argument that it's any harder than the other two routes is that the final chapter on Lunatic (and nothing lower) is impossible to solo by design. (But still oh too easy to cheese.)

Conquest lunatic is much harder than HHM.

Dorcas just wanted to heal his wife and eat some safe mutton. Dont pick on him!

Fire Emblem Blazing Sword Aka "Fire Emblem"
Fire Emblem Sacred Stones
Fire Emblem Path of Radiance

I think all of these are fine games to start with, Path of Radiance is quite expensive though.

If you like any one of these I would also highly recommend Shadow Dragon and Radiant Dawn (though that one is a direct sequel to PoR so you definitely want to play that first)

I like strategy games but I only played two of the FE series and I think it is time I should get into it. No mobile please.

Gameplay- Fates (Birthright if you want a casual experience and Conquest if you want a more complex one...maybe Revs if you are curious) and Awakening.

Story- Echoes and I hear quite a few people like in both story and gameplay department so Sacred Stones although I never played it but I'd recommend considering it's popularity.
