I assume its mostly cosmetic stuff, but i assume power ups and continues in story mode can also be purchased, kinda like back in the day when we had to buy Game Shark to cheat through harder games lol. I pre-ordered today (Best Buy Gamer Club gets 20% off, plus a $10 off of anything coupon = Bomberman for $30, woo!). That preorder is contingent upon the absence of microtransactions - if they are in the game, I will be refunding the order. I'm really hoping they don't get included, as microtransactions on top of a full price game would be rather cynical, wouldn't it? With all of that said, have you gals and guys heard the music on the Treehouse Feed for the game? That was, weirdly, the tipping point for me, as it reminded me so much of Megaman soundtracks. Very cool for getting players in the groove blowing stuff up. Looking forward to co-oping the game with my wife (she's the bigger Bomberman fan between the two of us). |
