It was called Time Traveler. My local arcade had it for a time but I never tried it, probably because the arcade charged $2 just to play it once. I could play through both Golden Axe and Final Fight for $2, not wasting it on a game I would most likely suck at.

Did any of you play it?

Yep....it sucked. You can find the DVD release online. That sucks too.

The following year they released Holosseum.

I remember seeing it being demoed on the old Gamepro TV show back in the day. Never saw an actual machine of it in the wild.

If anyone is close to Chicago, they have both of these machines at Galloping Ghost Arcade.

I played it. Worse than Dragon's Lair/Space Ace in every way.

I found it neat, but yes, it was pretty much an annoying Quick-time Event game.

Just went to an arcade and more of these mirrored amusement games are now available. There are companies developing a similar device for hospitals.

I played both of those hologram arcade games. Time Traveler, believe it or not, was the much better of the two.

Yes! My local roller skating rink had it when I was a kid.

I remember it looked pretty cool but was nearly impossible to play. Basically a holographic version of Dragon's Lair.
