Decided to make the ODT for this volume.

This new volume has aided its first episode, but only for their website. Unless you have First membership you're gonna have to wait, and I would prefer if those who've seen the episode keep it spoiler blocked until at least Monday.

When we last left Volume 5, the Battle of Haven was decided and our lovely hunters ended up being victorious. The White Fang has realized the error of their ways, Adam seemingly has fallen out of favor and Blake stepped up alongside her family and friend Illa to keep order in Mistral. Raven had gotten a change of heart after defeating Cinder and sending her down a dark pit likely to her demise. Yang was able to reach her mother and claim the relic for Team RWBY leaving Salem at a loss.

While they relish in their victory, the road ahead still lies with many dangers old and new meaning our team will need to gather their strength to combat such threats. Will Ruby and her friends survive the new land they are about to traverse or will the darkness still lurking in their shadows consume them all?
You know what it is.

Fine job.

I'm considering a plan as to WHEN to subscribe to Rooster Teeth. Y'see, on January 24th, Gen:Lock will air while RWBY will wrap up its volume a week after. Depend on the amount of episodes, my 6-month sub may expire before the season of Gen:Lock finishes. I give myself two weeks off, then sub to RT First then and there, and there'd be no interrupt to finish off both shows as they air on the site.

That all depends if I'm willing to face the dangerous avoidance of spoilers for Vol.6 as they stream.

EDIT: Also, it depends if Gen:Lock is even worth the delay. It could just as well be a style-over-substantial series than can't easily hold water over its presentation and cast.
But I could be wrong...

Yeah, the plan makes sense to me I would do that myself possible.

Also, the mobile game is out for anyone curious.

Also, the chapter in the RT site has closed captions now. As of this post, it has English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, and Korean.

That's welcoming, although I kinda miss the joke subs that were made by fans on youtube. But RT has to be legit.

What I'm about to say, remember: I have not seen the premiere, nor have I seen even the intro. But I have seen the trailer, so I have some pressing questions that made me wonder with the show moving forward via Vol.6:

Will the entire volume cover their trip to Atlas, or will they actually get to that country long or shortly before the finale?

What are they gonna do with the supporting cast? Will new characters appear to overshadow the existing ones? I'm aware from word-of-mouth prior to the premiere and even the theatrical showing that Sun will have a minor role yet, which is a shame.

What's Salem next course of action, if Cinder's out of the fight? She still needs maidens to get to their correspondent relics.

Will Team RWBY being together rob the opportunity to explore other locations within Remnant?

Will the vocal songs still be scarce?

Will having a new co-director help improve the issues of pacing and lore bloat that hamper the last two volumes?

-and most importantly-

Will Nora be queen of the castle?

-and most, most importantly-

How will Team RWBY mingle with each other, now that they act different than they were Pre-V3? It wouldn't feel right to just default back to their old personas after everything happened to them. Star Butterfly matured from the manic pixie magical girl she once was during Season 3 of her show, so why couldn't the huntresses? Ruby seems to be the only character who doesn't get a significant growth compared to the other three, and it would be nice to see a change in her--however slight--. But in the meantime, Weiss, Blake and Yang has to carry the growth with them in the conversations.

I'm sure the premiere will resolve parts of that, but it helps me wonder.
But I could be wrong...

Nice to see things being back to happy go lucky for a change. Not everything has to be so dark and dreary in this day and age.

Shocking, I know.
