  3. How many wheel of time books are there in total?
Including spin offs, prologues, etc. and is it worth it? Is it a good series?

I've never read one, but all my research indicated that it's a contender for best fantasy series ever written.
15. Only one of them is a ‘spin off’, a prequel called New Spring.

It’s a good series overall but it’s notorious for being slow in the middle, a sequence of books often called ‘the slog’. It also has the issue of the series being finished by someone other than the original author, though most (not all) readers were satisfied.
I never wanted to be a serial killer, anyway.

Fourteen main novels, a prequel, a companion book and an encyclopedia.

The first two books also have version where they were split into two individual books with separate names.

FYI the amazon series changes a lot from the books.

It's definitely good.

But goddamn is it a commitment.
