Philly for sure.

1. Amazing young players around him who he can mentor.
2. No need for a trade, the 6ers can just sign him.
3. Only looks truly bad for his legacy if the 6ers beat the Cavs in the playoffs this year.
4. 6ers still have tons of draft picks coming.
5. Gets to stay in the East.
6. Pretty close to NYC without having to actually play for the Knicks or Nets.

i agree with all of this. the only downside is simmons has such a similar skillset and no ability to play off ball. if lbj goes to phi he is going to have to play off ball whenever he and simmons share the floor.
No lives matter.

yea stunting simmons growth is the biggest reason not to do it. on the other hand how much longer does lebron even have? maybe 2-3 more years of being the man and then starting to take a smaller role? he'll be 36 in 3 years and have played 18 years by then. simmons can be mentored by him for a year or two and then take over the team as lebron doesn't have to do as much each night.

Lebron to Philly is a seriously complex fit though. I wonder if they even pursue it and just go after Paul George or a Kawhi trade instead. Either way I think they’ll be going after a big move this offseason.
