It could be something simple like DB Super, that one arc in Fairy Tail or Type Moon with a bunch of connected series.

I watched a decent vid on Tenchi Muyo and now I'm wondering what else has a focus on a multiverse concept.

Clamp sorta did it with Tsubasa Chronicles + xxxHolic
Tezuka's works is probably one of the earliest for anime/manga
Go Nagai + Ken Ishikawa works
Banpresto's SRW franchise (OG stuff + mainline games + Project X Zone + Namco x Capcom are all linked)

Gundam might be but it could also be just the same universe being reset'd a ton of times (Ideon + UC Gundam/ZZ is linked).

Speaking of that, I wonder if we would ever get another anime like Inspector ever again.

I wonder as well, there's enough content for at least 2 or 3 seasons.

The seiyuu for Excellen passed away which means they'll have to recast if they want to do another anime + I don't think they can avoid using Kyousuke/Excellen despite how their 'main plots' ended since Kyosuke's like the Field Leader of the Steel Dragon army.

The biggest incentive to do it would be after a new game comes out that concludes the current storyline. Bandai is also making a lot of model kits for various franchises these days aside from Gundam like Kamen Rider, Digimon etc so that's another reason. I really want to see the GBA and DS crew in an OG game too.

My brother died in 2018. My first blind playthrough of Kingdom Hearts III is for him. I tell his stories. Also Smash/other game stuff.

This looks interesting. Anyone can vouch if this is good? Satelight shows are usually a mess production wise.

Does The Girl in the Twilight count? That's a series entirely about visiting alternate realities and the main girl even has a darker and edgier version of herself from a bad/ruined reality.

Yeah sure. I'm just interested in a series that explores the concept of a multiverse. I had to chuckle when I googled this and got links to the MC in "Twilight" tho.
