I've been in the mood for a decent fantasy series. I've been meaning to check out Granblue fantasy. Is it passable? Or maybe Grancrest War? I've seen all of Danmachi.

I think season 1 of Granblue Fantasy is good. Season 2... is still okay. It does remind me quite a bit of Skies or Arcadia though, I feel like that game was a heavy inspiration for it. Granblue Fantasy is also a game and you can play it for free. There's also an official English version, so if you want the full story, you can play the game. I haven't played it yet, but supposedly it's good.

Sleeping Princess in the Demon Castle is an excellent fantasy comedy anime (and there's also a manga). Nice visuals too and a ton of adorable stuff, but the comedy is just great overal.

And this one's a few years old by now, but I'd say Akatsuki no Yona is also a good one. There's also quite a bit of manga material beyond the anime, but even the anime alone is still good even if you don't continue.

In SA2, it's Super Sonic and Hyper Shadow.

Depending on what you mean by recent:

Alderamin on the Sky
Dorohedoro
Blood Blockade Brotherhood S1 & 2
The Ancient Magus' Bride
Magi S1&2
Senyuu (hero parody short you probably haven't seen)
Endro
Goblin Slayer
Made in Abyss
Land of the Lustrous
SukaSuka / World End
Grimgar - well technically this is isekai but all the isekaiees' memories were erased on transfer so it might as well be straight fantasy
Snow White with the Red Hair
Fate franchise (if you have something against the Holy Grail War side you can still check out Case Files which is a magic detective spinoff)
The World God Only Knows

Alderamin on the Sky

I've been watching this and it's good. I'd recommend it if you're also looking for something with a war setting.

Jobless reincarnation, just ignore that it's an isekai.

Are you Russian or something?

Why can't it be an isekai?
