So right off the bat the kids find Sakkakumon floating around...who sadly is also missing any real personality. One of the orbs sucks TK, Izzy, Matt and Tai up...they find digital ghosts of enemies past to fight thanks to there data being copied...Angemon fights Devimon who taunts him...nearly causes the angel to become Neo Devimon but of course as soon as TK looks in danger he breaks out of the dark hold and becomes Magna Angemon.

Well at last Patamon got revenge for season four I suppose but even THIS is lame as Magna Angemon just unleashes one sword slash and the fight is over...god damn it show you can't even do Manga Angemon right.

SO...next time is Tai running around with" Digimon Outlaws" for some reason...after how they botched Manga Angemon there is nothing this show can do right. ( Facedesks)

Everyone is now their end of Adventure 1999 stats at least. Also Sephirotmon/Sakkakumon is still alive, so I expect that thing to be a tumor later for the Goddramon/ShadowSeraphimon episode.

Gonna agree Holy/MagnaAngemon's episode should've been crazier/more exciting rather than answering "what was Devimon 2020". Like regular Angemon curbstomping Devimon after Devimon gets a few lucky blows, Devimon comes back as NeoDevimon and the corruption drama truly begins, but regular Angemon still miraculously wins (barely), then DoneDevimon appears and curbstomps Angemon fully into the corruption drama that requires him to evolve and destroy DoneDevimon and the sphere.

Very annoyed we're getting a Tai filler and one of the monsters of the week is an obscure mememon from a 15 year old contest. Damn I actually had a lot to say about this episode for once.

This feels like the show was just trying to fix the complaint about Devimon being unexplained. Though even the explanation was kinda flat, just the "dark side" of Angemon. Would have been more interesting if they're friends.

Would be funny if Sephirothmon comes back to defeat Seraphimon later lol, and it what triggers the Goddramon evolution.
Xehanort's guardian is the will of Kairi's grandma. It will absorb Xehanort and become Kairi's grandma, the final villain!!!

The bad guys had a pretty decent plan this time around. Using Sakkakumon to capture them, collect their data, grow stronger in turn, destroy them, on top of furthering their goal towards reviving millenniumon.

It would have been cooler maybe but not as appropriate from a narrative perspective. TK Crest is hope, so Angemon evolving from TK applying said hope is much better from that perspective then him doing so just because they needed more power. Overshadowing their development.

After the Tai filler the plot is going into maximum overdrive. Machinedramon, the resurrection of Millenniummon, pink Falkor possibly saving the day, and some extra stuff because the story ain't over.

Episode 48- Mugendramon's Attack (May 16th)
Taichi and co. reach [redacted because mods], only to encounter the vicious Ultimate level Mugendramon. It absorbs Piyomon, Palmon, and Gomamon's data, rendering them unable to battle. Meanwhile, Taichi receives a message from Leomon, who is far away traveling on ElDoradimon while housing the refugee Digimon: "Something odd is happening! Cloud Continent is falling!" It isn't long before even MetalGarurumon's data is absorbed and he is unable to fight. Mugendramon directs its powerful Mugen Cannon at the children and Digimon to give the final blow. Taichi and WarGreymon risk their own lives to protect everyone by charging at Mugendramon...

Episode 49- The Evil God Descends, Millenniumon (May 23rd)
Yamato, Sora, and Koushiro try to stop Millenniumon from reviving, but Gryphomon attacks MetalGarurumon and it goes beyond their control. While Taichi's sister Hikari is stricken with despair, Mimi tries to console her. But even Mimi's grief at losing Taichi is huge.

Episode 50- Finale: The Ultimate Holy War (May 30th)
Amidst Millenniumon's fury, Hikari and the other chosen children don't know whether Taichi and WarGreymon are dead or alive, but they choose to believe that they are still alive and fight. As the digital world is about to be surrounded in darkness, all Digimon send up their prayers for peace, awakening an evolution to Ultimate that no one had predicted.

Episode 51- The Mystery Hidden in the Crests (June 6th)
The children overcome their final battle with Millenniumon, when they receive a message from Garbamon telling them that he found something that looks exactly like the crest that shows up on the Digivice at a place called "The Tree of Information." The children hurry there, where they reunite with Garbamon and meet Wisemon, who collects information on the digital world. There they find a secret room that's engraved with the eight crests, and learn of the even further duties that the chosen children bear.

Well they had the right idea for MagnaAngemon development, but just like everything in this show it was executed badly.

Plot? Oh yeah the plot to stop them from reviving the demon lo- i mean Milleniumon.

Ultimate that no one predicted? Everyone can see pink catdog coming from a mile away. 0.2% chance it's Omegamon again. Anyone else would actually be surprising. Mugendramon is a nice surprise though. Can't believe the crests are showing up. Not sure if i should be glad they're mentioning them or annoyed they're showing up this late.

Half this shows problems would have been solved if they did a lot of stuff earlier.

So...we hype up Millenniummon the ENTIRE show and he's not even the final boss and goes down faster then Devimon? The only one I would put excusable for this would be Daemon...but even his Ultra state is not as powerful as Zeed...( Facedesks)
