and by that i mean they assume a character that sucks now will suck forever because they aren't good right out of the gate

they expect character development to come at them instantly and any fanservice is seen as a detriment to the entire series

no matter what you tell them once they've dropped a series due to it not being fast enough for them

they are convinced it's hot garbage and won't even think about returning to it

people are free to think what they want but when they drop a series after just a few episodes and think they've seen all there is

that grinds my gears

what do you think about people like that?

I don't know or care what series you're getting upset about today, but a character can be flawed while still being likable. If they're all flaws with no redeeming qualities, then it becomes a chore to watch and usually isn't worth waiting for them to get better.

Some people can't handle being challenged

Some challenges aren't worth facing

Not all unlikable characters are bad, not all character development is good

There's no one answer, no matter how much you blog about it on gamefaqs
We all deserve to die because that exists
