Still a couple of weeks to go, but just dropping a reminder that the Vesperia remaster is coming out on the 11th of January. Unfortunately it is being followed up by KH3 later in the same month, so that timing just hurts.

kinda interested in God Eater 3 but idk if I'll like it. Code Vein seems safer even if the edgy Tokyo Ghoul aesthetic looks bad

Sekiro in March though

Theres actually some things I prefer in Dragon Age Inquisition than The Witcher 3 after playing it again.

I like having Skyhold and your own army and organization that rivals kingdoms.
I like the "dungeons" or one time locations, it feels more unique than all the story being in the open world.
The main quest is shorter but they make sure every quest is epic.

Besides those, The Witcher 3 is better.

Eh... i highly doubt Vesperia will still live up to the hype that it supposedly had back then now.

At the end of the day. After you played a couple of Tales games, they just start to get monotonous.

1. Color palette swap the same enemy
2. Bland repetitive dungeons
3. Rehash stories
4.Forgettable characters
5.Generic soundtracks

Anyway... i suppose KH3 will at least be serviceable, in a enjoyable sense hopefully.

you're not entirely wrong (except about the characters, usually they have pretty solid casts) but the battle system is usually a reasonable balance of fun and challenging and Vesperia is one of the best ones. Though the character art is a bit funky looking.

Meh. Berseria was better.

Waited over a decade for KH3. Hope it's good.

Well imo, the main selling point in Tales games are the "Gameplay" that's something i can always come to enjoy.

Also the point of forgettable characters comes from playing ToH R long ago.
