I liked spamming this one deck-out/stall deck in the gba games (stuff like level limit area b/other stall cards + needle worm/jars/&c).

none of them

archetypes are the main thing that made me lose interest in yugioh

Would you be willing to expound on that? I think that might literally be the first time I've ever heard that opinion.

I share that opinion. It's because any card with an archetype is useless to decks that don't follow the archetype.
When I open a pack that has nothing but elemental heroes, destiny heroes, and neo-spatians, I feel as if I've wasted my money.
Even before it was an archetype, Blue Eyes White Dragon was a powerful card that could benefit a variety of decks. The same cannot be said of the Skyscrapers.
And since they introduce new archetypes all the time, the game is flooded with more ultra-specialized junk than players know what to do with. Types and attributes had the potential to be great archetypes from the start, yet many were overlooked or underdeveloped in favor of "Archfiend," "Ojama," and other quirky gimmicks.
If I really want to discuss about nonsense in a non-sensical way, I'd rather go to 4Chan. For finding news I rather go to Reddit.

I really liked E. Heroes once they got some solid support going (Neos Alias, Prisma and Stratos did wonders for the archtype). I haven't played the game in YEARS though. I basically quite playing the physical game after Lightsworn stuff came out. I still dabbled in the PSP games though.

Gadgets, Dark World, Monarchs (Frog Monarch specifically), Crystal Beasts, Lightsworn, all of those were also fun. I also like those decks that "cheat" out the big fusion monsters.

Tie between Dark Magician and Magnet Warrior

The former because Dark Magician is really cool

The later because I once play the Yu-Gi-Oh GBA game and the one monster that stood out to me was something I later found was known as "Valkyrion the Magna Warrior". Badass, powerful and its apperance in the anime made me love it and the Magnet Warriors even more.

In fact, the the aforementioned GBA game, I'm trying to build a deck which combines both these archetypes together.

Archetypes in yugioh are great because the cover broad areas of appeal and strategy. Want to play with chibis eating sweets? Have fun. Want to summon power rangers and hop into a near indestructable Megazord? They got you covered. Magical Girls? Gotta have the basics right? Wizard of Oz/Star wars? Why not? Trash Golems that explode after they do their thing? Go for it. The bad side is in gameplay, the archetypes are not designed equally. Some have much less support and or have intentional flaws that "good" archetypes do not have.
