MUI is a complete and utter FAILURE for a mortal! It's not a viable technique and form to learn if you're a saiyan or mere earthling. And it's way too much if you are a mortal. If the GoDs can't even perfect the form, there is no point to learning it unless you were an angel like merus or are an angel like whis. For a mortal like Goku, he has to go through way too much s*** to be able to attain it. And even then it has huge stamina issues.

GoD form is way more practical to learn. Vegeta learned it, and it helped him put him on par/surpass mui goku from a narrative standpoint. It also has no weaknesses either. there is no downside to it.

Goku never should have trained with whis. He and Vegeta should have stuck to training with Beerus and convincing him to train them. If they both trained with Beerus, they would have been way stronger than what they are now.

GoD is more practical for saiyans to learn and master. MUI isn't. Because it's too much work to attain and because it drains stamina too much

Goku’s fighting background makes him a perfect candidate for Ultra Instinct. He’s never really embraced his Saiyan savagery and he’s not brutal by nature.

Hakai doesn’t suit him.

We know next to nothing about Vegeta's new form...

Can we see it fight before we conclude it's better than UI?

Both forms specialize in different things. One is not inherently better than the other at everything.

Besides, the story line is that both characters will rival Beerus. That pretty much tells us that both forms will be ‘equal’ from a certain point of view.

This is ridiculous. Obviously MUI+Limit Breaker is a powerful form, and a huge power-up.

posts like this make it harder to take a stance on Vegeta currently being stronger because you make this side look ridiculous by association.

if MUI Goku is a 5 HK Vegeta shouldn’t be any higher than 7 at most. It’s a huge power up but Goku isn’t fodder.

mui goku is a jobber. he jobbed to jiren. jobbed to planet moro. and jobbed to granola

GoD form would never give goku issues. especially because it has no weaknesses and doesn't have to worry about stamina conservation. he should have just stuck with perfecting hakai and training with beerus like he originally did in the goku black arc. ui ruined goku's entire life and it's one of the worst forms he could have gotten from a functionality standpoint

We don’t know anything about Vegeta’s new form, he fought Granolah using spirit fission SSBE. Only explanations are that either the training for GoD technique greatly enhanced his lower forms or Granolah is not fighting at full power yet.

We know it wont get one shotted by Granola. Yet Ultra Instink is so terrible for mortals that Goku couldn't even have a decent showing against granola

I only agree if UI Goku lose to Hakai Vegeta in a direct fight.

at this point, he'd get his head punched off by vegeta. getting ui is one of the worst things goku could have gotten because he's a mortal and he gains a technique thats mastered by the angels. yet because he's a mere mortal who only completed it recently, he has to keep worrying about stamina issues. and now because of stamina issues, he has to keep worrying about jobbing.

this is a hot take but if goku and vegeta trained with beerus to deal with Moro, they arguably could have solo'd prime moro.
