But Beerus can make death permanent as in no existence anywhere, so thats a worse repercussion.

Every other time he's losing he resorts to planet killing, except for here.

Frieza might prefer erasure to hell actually, but there's no reason Frieza even knew Beersus can erase things.

Every time he resorted to planet busting he was desperate. Frieza's not desperate in Broly. He's plainly just admiring Broly's power at the end of the fight and wants to make that power his. Which blowing up the planet robs him of and also makes it so he can't kill Goku himself, which is something Broly establishes he wants to do more than anything.
