Really nice review! This one was actually in my wantlist but I knew nothing about it, so your review was fun to read. Sci-fi anime stuff is always cool, especially if its old

Nice review! I think "[a] one-and-done affair" is a really accurate way to describe a lot of these smaller PC games. Like even if I really like one, its never the kind of thing I would really go back to or play for a long amount of time (like more than a week tops). I like rapid fire games though, in and out, on to the next one.

Thanks fam!
Also, nice reviews! I've heard a lot about Fallout due to my brother (its his favorite franchise), but I never heard of this expansion so it was interesting to read about. Also cool you reviewed an XBOX 360 game, I don't own one at the moment, but I feel the XBOX consoles generally get less reviews when compared to Playstation consoles.

I'm kind of scared of Age of Empires and any game like it. A friend of mine used to play a wide array of games, and once he got into those, its all he plays now. That said, really nice review, is always fun to read ones where the reviewer is really passionate about the game they're playing

Age of Empires and games like it can easily be pitfalls or time sinks, especially for the highly competitive. Luckily I've never been ultra competitive with my gaming, so I've avoided that rabbit hole.

7. Review a game in a series you've never played. Dungeons and Dragons: Dark Alliance (PC)
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/pc/279455-dungeons-and-dragons-dark-alliance/reviews/172365

Never played a game with the D&D branding, or even any of the spiritual spinoffs like Baldurs Gate. $40 down the drain on this one. Only reason I rated it as high as I did is because it's actually a little entertaining to see how absurdly broken parts of the game are. Easily the worst game of 2021 for me so far.

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/snes/588812-tuff-e-nuff/reviews/172215

Two SNES fighting games. Tuff E Nuff is a typical Street Fighter clone that could have used a little more content and originality, but it's mechanically sound and pretty fun to play with a couple novel ideas. Overall not bad, I enjoyed it.

I put Battle Blaze as a revenge game since the main character is seeking to avenge his father's death. It's a fighting game that thinks it is a beat 'em up with a limited and backwards control scheme, annoying combat, very little content, mediocre stage design, and a soundtrack that ranges from decent to ear-piercing.

I completely forgot about the era of endless street fighter clones! Man that game really defined that entire era. Fun reviews, again. Battle Blaze looks like such a complete mess it’s actually interesting haha. It looked around from horrendous to kinda fun looking.

Sneaky title there; it implies association with Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance (which was indeed quite good and highly rated).

Anyway, fun review!

14. Review a miscellaneous game . Ring Fit Adventure (9/10)
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/switch/273219-ring-fit-adventure/reviews/172241

Honestly one of the best fitness games I've used. There are a couple technical grievances I encountered, but aside from that it's been doing a great job at helping me improve my physical and mental health after the pandemic. It's packed with content, makes you work up a sweat, and is honestly pretty fun once you get into the habit of using it.

Oh man did this jog my memory. I really wanted this game, saw it was impossible to get, forgot about it, and then saw this review. Really good job detailing this one and it was a fun read. I'm excited to play this again and googled it and saw it was much more reasonably priced now! I might have impulse purchased this game like ten minutes ago haha.

45. Review a game with over 20 reviews: Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps3/615426-uncharted-3-drakes-deception/reviews/172375
Score: 7.25/10.00

Hey another non-Vita review! This one was for 20+ reviews, which sort of eliminates every single Vita game. Uncharted Golden Abyss has 8 reviews here and Persona 4 Golden has a whopping 18, but nothing else comes close. So I had to go off the Vita reservation for this one. I'd actually been holding onto this one for the longest time so I could time it for my 100th platinum. I was actually quite possibly the very last person in the world to get 100% on the DLC for it, as I got the final trophy literally ten minutes or so before the servers closed. It was a lot of fun those final couple of months wrapping the DLC up, so I thought I'd save the main game for a special occasion. Which is now! Happy 100th platinum, me!

The issue sort of is that the multiplayer was amazing but you can't play it any more, and the single player, while you can play it, isn't all that great. Like. It's fine. It is more Uncharted so if you like Uncharted you'll probably like this. But it is a lot worse than Uncharted 2 in almost every way. The story is nonsense and lazily written and the fights seem like they're more of a mess this time and the whole game just isn't as good. In the final paragraph I call this "a good disappointment", which pretty much sums up how I felt about everything.

Summary Quote: There were multiple locations here I could find somewhere to hide behind and basically just await the conga line of death that would slowly march its way towards me. An enemy would appear, I’d shoot them, and then I’d wait for the next guy to show up in a similar spot and his corpse would collapse on top of the last twenty guys I killed in the exact same way. The fights just didn’t feel like they had the same level of polish as the past couple of games, and I found myself far more entertained by the spectacle of certain fights than the actual fights themselves. This isn’t to say the combat is terrible or there aren’t some interesting encounters, but it just feels a bit more sloppy this time around like not as much effort went into making sure all the fights unfolded in interesting or challenging ways.

Nice timing for a PS3 review, I'm currently in the process of getting my old PS3 up and running! I sadly don't have the largest PS3 library at the moment though as I lost a lot of the games I used to own overtime, but still got a decent amount to play/review. I never got into the Uncharted series, but I've seen some videos about the music cues and such in the same one you reviewed. Really nice review, the story stuff sounds hilariously bad.

Oh, never mind. Just Suprak reviewing a non-Vita game.

Good review. Another series I need to try out eventually.

My next review should be finished soon. In the meantime, I'm gonna add the last of my older reviews onto the chart.

11. Review an action game. Psycho Dream. (7/10)

35. Review a game that took you less than one day to finish. Ghost Chaser Densei. (8/10)
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/snes/567027-ghost-chaser-densei/reviews/171811

My Psycho Dream review was well-timed, it got a lot more traction than I thought it would because Nintendo added it to NSO days after it was posted.

5, 8, 11, 14, 21, 23, 34, 35, 40, 45, 48. (11/50)

I was going to say “Aw yeah another review for a previously unreviewed game” but I checked and there were actually two others already. One was just a year and a half ago! Not at all what I was expecting.

Really good reviews either way, as usual. Games looked fun, too,
