I don't know if I'll get any more reviews in this year that fit remaining criteria. Hopefully I can get a strong start next year.

I've reviewed 37 games this year. I have 5 reviews nearly complete and will likely submit this week, and one more review planned to write from scratch this week. So I'll have a minimum of 43 this year, and possibly a couple of more if I can find a few short games I can go through quickly.

Whether I can fit all 43 into the list above is another matter. I know I haven't played a game with a metascore over 90, or any visual novels, or from TVTropes. And I've reviewed 11 first person shooters.

Edit: I keep editing this since I keep finding games I've reviewed and haven't written on my list.

I made the mistake of not properly tracking the games I reviewed and which criteria they might have potentially met. I may try to have master list going next year so I know what fits there.

Just discovered the contributor activity page.

I had 60 reviews this year, but a lot of them were duplicate categories. Apparently I average about 50 a year excluding 2017 when I put up 102!

How the hell did I find the time?

You do a lot of arcade style games and platformers and they tend to be short. Play more first person shooters, strategy games and RPGs and you'll have fewer reviews.

Fair enough, I'll try and work on that. Have some FPS games in the pipeline coming up

Jeez. I've reviewed every game I've beaten this year (bar one, I don't review old stuff since I hate contextualizing release dates into conclusions) and I've done eleven. I can't imagine finishing 102 games in a year, let alone reviewing them all.
