Trachea144 is a contributor who was previously ranked in the top 100 most prolific authors with over 90 contributions. I got to know him quite well because we were both working on the N64 library, and I am glad to call him a friend. Thanks to his efforts the N64 library of guides was almost complete. We were both working on this pretty hard the last year. I translated about 51 Japanese manuals and he wrote guides for the rest of the NTSC games, in less than about 6 months.
Suddenly the other week I noticed that all his guides were gone. Either he deleted them all, or they were removed. Trachea has not replied to any of my pms for over a month. Can admin share any light on this issue?
I know he had a habit of quoting from manuals for some of his guides, so perhaps there were some copyright concerns? But he wrote at least two translations of Japanese games and many other guides which were all his own work. I think its a great loss of knowledge of obscure games.
I really hope this is not another case of mysteriously losing another online friend :(
Edit
Looking at his profile page it seems he still has a level 6 author badge? So did he just take down his guides to re-write them?
