Hey guys, I was thinking about converting some of my guides from text to HTML, and was wondering if there was a way to do it, short of rewriting it and pulling the text version. I like tracking my statistics and would hate to lose them. Not sure if I'm gonna follow through, but I'd like to be clear on the options I have before I make a decision one way or the other. I tried searching for an answer, but all I found was a 5 year old thread that may be out of date.

Back then in 2017 I had four text guides which were upgraded to HTML during the transition to the new FFAQ system. But I can't remember whether I lost the statistic or not; those guides were only one year old at most, so I didn't really care about losing. At that time it's possible to upgrade plaintext to HTML, but now text and HTML submissions are handled separately... Sorry, I have no answer.

@Devin_Morgan help TC please.
First FOTM won 05/26/2017, FOTM wins/attempts: 4/5, first ROTM won 01/06/2018, ROTM wins/attempts: 1/5
First COTM won 08/10/2018, COTM wins: 3

With mine being 13+ years old, I'd rather not lose the stats if possible :P But then I suppose there's no rule that I can't have both a text and HTML version up at the same time?

IIRC, there is a rule that you can only pick one version.

Well if there is, that's different (obviously). Maybe I'll just leave the existing ones to others and do new content for myself.

If you want to update a guide that's plaintext to an HTML guide, you can do so. When you submit the HTML version, please leave me a note saying that you are updating a plaintext guide to HTML and I can do that for you. You won't lose your stats.

Thanks! I'm not sure if I'm going to do it anytime soon, but knowing I can definitely makes me more inclined to do so! Thanks :)
