it's a very vague question and the answer depends on many factors:
- language
- number of faqs
- size of the faq(s)
- kind of faqs (general, indepth...)
- fame of the game(s)
- age of the game(s)
etc etc...

from few thousands to different millions of hit...

I'd say it depends on the game.

lol this would be a lot easier to ballpark if you gave us the name of the game you're planning to write for. I think we can all promise not to "scoop you" on it if you're keeping it on the DL hoping to be the go-to guide for the game.

For example, if you're looking to go ham on Monster Hunter World and put in the maximum effort, I think you can expect hundreds of thousands at least throughout the year.

But if you're planning on writing a guide for Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes on the GameCube, I doubt you'll crack 10k.

I personally wouldn't put too much stock in hits, because you risk being disappointed with the results.

I believe one of the authors here "confessed" that their guide, which was released in January, hit around 700k in January of the next year. That's around 2k hits per day.

Actually I was surprised that one of my guides for PSP game hit 1k yesterday (from the average of 500); that was the first time since it was posted last year. If less-popular game can hit 1k, I believe popular games should easily reach 3-5k hits per day.

Yeah, you can do it for Monster Hunter World. Million hits are within your grasp if you create a high quality guide. Snatch all bounties while you can.

@CyricZ @ZeoKnight

ahh my fellow co-writers i love the inspiration!

but... hundreds of thousands of views are wonderful i must admit. however, dem 3 triple zeros are more tempting atm.

So much this. I have 2,438 FAQs/maps but only clock in at a little over a million views a year.
1,000 maps goal achieved on 04/12/2010!
2,000 maps goal achieved on 04/15/2016!
