LP - Had a very productive day at work and feel caught up for the first time in a month or so. Can finally start working on some of the smaller projects I've been thinking about doing.

Warhawk: I played NASCAR 2003 for the GameCube a few months ago, and it's still quite a fun game. NASCAR has lost a lot of its momentum in the past decade, and since the drivers and tracks change a lot less quickly than players and teams in, say, the NFL, it's probably harder to convince people to buy a new game every year. I wouldn't mind playing a newer NASCAR game, but I wouldn't spend $40 for it unless it was super-amazing.

LP: The job quest continues. Fun!

LP: Been really lazy on the guide-writing front lately. In a funk I guess. Haven't checked GF for a few weeks (which is crazy long for me).

FP: Did "Not a Hero", DLC for Resident Evil 7.

How was this? Wasn't it delayed more than once? It's a Chris DLC right?

I need to watch a playthrough. I love the RE universe, but the games are very hard for me to actually play... I never want to move and I hate being scared.

I forfeited a lot of my works to the public domain. Mainly because I'm just not interested in those particular guides anymore. I'd like to update all of them with "do not contact" buuuuut.....

I hate where FFAQs went and refuse to update those. I'm not bitter, but I'll never again contribute to GFAQs for that reason. I have my own dream now anyway (and it does involve FAQing -- thanks for the inspiration?).

You're probably wondering "who is this". I was Drache and Drache is dead.

And where exactly did they go? We have made numerous changes, most notably re-allowing H2s and H3s to exist on the same page together (which is closer to the "old way"). Other than that, without actually talking to say myself or Allen, there's no way of knowing what specifically is making people unhappy.

This goes for anyone else who might be reading and has some un-aired grievances with "where FFAQs went".

FP: Divinity Original Sin 2

Gonna try to pump something solid out for this monster of a game. Feels good to be working on something I love again.

GP: Overwatch is taking up far too much of my time.

FP - Started a guide for Alien Storm [SMS]. I'm not really a fan of writing for beat 'em ups because I feel like a guide is very repetitive for them, especially old ones like one for an 8-bit system. It's mostly, "move up and kill this group, now move up and kill that group." I'm trying to streamline it a bit and make it very straight forward and clean. We'll see how this goes.

GP - Finished my first run of Dead Cells and got the achievement for not taking any damage from the final boss when it was the first time I saw the boss. I had an ice bow and a crossbow that shoots 4 strong shots at the same time. I kill the boss in about 20 seconds constantly freezing it and just destroying it with the crossbow when in close. I'm still not sure what attacks that boss is supposed to do because it never had the chance. Also started Rock of Ages 2, I'm loving the humor in it so far.

LP - Pretty big week coming up at work next week followed by a 3 day work week the following week. Still feeling good about this upcoming week though, not feeling stressed at all despite prepping for a big sale.
