I decided to organize a wiki for posting links to Japanese FAQs, posting info on games that I've attempted and am stuck, and anything else that could potentially help keep this project moving forward.

That's a great idea LBK. I'm sure there are a lot of links and information scattered in the previous topics, so it would be nice if all of that information is organized in one location.

I am planning to do a FAQ for "SD Gundam World: Gachapon Senshi - Scramble Wars" and "SD Gundam World Map Collection". Since the Map Collection is the exact same game, but with ten different maps it makes sense to combine them I think.

If its not done till the end of August and I don't give a status update till then, you can consider it canceled.

That's great news. It seems like a fun game, but I suck at the battles so I didn't get very far.

The action battles against the CPU player are indeed the one point that gives me the most headaches. Very very difficult and super fast. Strange to have this in a "strategy" game. Not sure if I will find out a good solution for the fights. The FAQs of the similar sequel games don't give tips on the actual fighting. Maybe it is indeed just a matter of reflexes.

Another thing that really annoys me about the game is the overly long "thinking" time the CPU needs for a couple of simple moves.

Adding the fact that there is no campaign and you can choose all levels/maps from the very beginning, I think the game works really good as a 2-player game, but not so much as a single player game.

I was excited when I heard about it, because it's similar to a game a wrote a FAQ for called Little Magic, with strategy unit movement + action battles. The fights in that one were well done, although a bit too easy. Too bad the fights aren't better in the Gundam one, and if you can figure out some tips, then people will appreciate that your FAQ exists even more so. I would assume there are video playthroughs on Japanese sites (nicovideo), although I haven't searched, and you might get ideas for battle strategy from there.

I will update the project site sometime soon, and add the recently archived topic. Been busy, sorry!

I added some links to Japanese FAQs for SD Gundam World: Gachapon Senshi - Scramble Wars on the wiki site: nescp.wikidot.com, toward the bottom of the page. They have some nice information (maps, stats, etc), and a Nico video. The Nico video is part 1, and you can copy the title of the video and paste it into google, but replace the part # to get the subsequent videos. You have to make an account to watch Nico videos, which I've done myself, and I haven't gotten any spam emails or anything as a result.

Thanks LBK. Didn't see the honor coming from FAQing all the Channel F games but I'm gracious for the achievement regardless. I was expecting it from either a future R/FotM or for FAQing for 50+ platforms.
http://www.youtube.com/PurrfectTrio. Operation XZQtion double 9 style set for May 19th, 2016 aborted. I just can't go through with it. Why must I be so weak?

I submitted a Momotarou Densetsu Gaiden FAQ. So next up will be Nazoler Land 3 and Nazoler Land Soukan Gou, probably in that order. I don't expect them to take me too long at this point, but we'll see.
