SMS Completion Project

I noticed the original topic is missing. Is that because it was once considered complete?

In any case, there was a notice that an author removed some of his guides. I finally checked in and it doesn't look too bad. There is the one Korean-only release which seems the biggest challenge.

Yeah, it was complete for a while.

I've been thinking of chipping in, but, gah, backlog.

As said in the nes cp topic, chances are that I'm done with faqing till 2016 but it's not etched in stone. My heart's just not in it anymore. Pure Pool was more or less my last hurrah. If I manage to will myself, I'll knock out at least a game or two.

I'm confused. I noticed the stats on the project page are all messed up. So I recounted. Now the stats are even worse. I noticed GameFAQs now lists every name for every game in the system's library so some of the names in the lists link to completely different game(name)s. The letter S has 88 entries in the list but only 58 different games with S after all, all other games there are either sms hardware or games also released under another name.
If someone finds the time, please compile a list of how many different games for every letter there really are. Thanks a lot!

Look like this page (http://selmiak.bplaced.net/sms/?page=complete) is not updated. For example; the letter S has 34 entries in this page (35 including Strider). So, 23 more games are not listed in this page...

For example; Sagaia, Scramble Spirits, Sega Chess, and more...

Or, Is this list only for FAQ written while the SMS CP is running?

For Gamefaqs list, count it from here (http://www.gamefaqs.com/features/comp_faqs), and you'll get 52 entries for the letter S. Some game released with different name in other region. For example; SDI (Global Defense)...

How can you count the actual games per letter from the completion project page?

Like i said before, some game released with different name in other region. So, it's not accurate. But if you count from other site, they include some unlicenced games that are not listed in GF...

look at the linked stats page.
Counting all games in that list adds up to 348 but the gamefaqs cp stats say there are only 347 game sms game at all.
My count say there are 53 S game, you say there are 52 S game, is this where it is wrong? I can't find SDI in the list you linked, so that is not the culprit.

Its hard to say because CP website only listed the games with FAQs writen while the SMS CP is running.

In CP website, there are 58 entries for the letter S, but here only 53. So, what are the remaining games?
