There are some US editon of games that don't currently have an image of a boxart (physical or downloadable) that could be taken from official websites like Nintendo, PlayStation, Microsoft, Image & Form, etc. I was wondering how does someone do boxart imaging and can I upload it via mobile (Android/iOS)? It just seems weird and incomplete without having the right image to comply with a detailed page.

- Save the image to your device, and copy the link/source
- Go to "Contribute" at the top, then click on Box Scans/Icons [https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/contribute/submit_box]
- Find the game/release, and upload the image; include source info in the box at the bottom of the form

Okay. Let me see if it works, can it be from the European sites as well? Like Nintendo.co.uk

Yup, that's 100% fine. Just make sure it's uploaded for the European release in those instances.

How does one upload the downloadable version of games, I tried accessing the downloadable page, but it provided an error saying you would have to visit the respective systems for the downloadable versions. How does one go about that? Would we say stuff like 'Got via the (systems) eShop'?

Do you mean the image you're looking for, or are you talking about the source of said info?

If it's the box image, it depends on the system. Some can found on website equivalents of their respective store (e.g. for PSN games, https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-us/home/main), but I'm not sure if one exists for all of the major platforms.

If you mean attributing source info, I've been able to just say "This came from the eShop" with respect to Nintendo games with no problems.

Well, it's the downloadable version from the eShop themselves.

However, there are some images with the orange outline that you find from the Nintendo sites on Google Images. I just wish that Nintendo of America had boxed images as well as the download versions.

I mean, I found a French version of the downloadable one here: https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/mario-and-luigi-bowsers-inside-story-3ds-fr
