I had Shenmue way back in the day. I loved it back then, but unfortunately I never completed it. I just bought the trilogy on PS4 and started last night.

I’ve read recently that people say this game has not aged well, I guess I can understand that sentiment, but I just jumped back in time and rekindled the joy I had playing this game. It’s so good. People say part 3 is bad because it’s too much like the original...so that means I’ll probably like it, right?

I think it's aged pretty well. Sure, it has tank controls, but those are easy to acclimate to...at least for players who've been gaming a long time. Haven't played a lot of S3, but it tied in health to stamina or some nonsense, so it really killed a lot of my interest in continuing.

Ya, that and music, but mostly the fact that if you wanted to play it, but had steam you would have to wait a year.

Odd situation overall.
