Some errors. Many of the unused abilities really are used, and it doesn't show complete defense attributes of equipment.
There is absolutely no thanks to one vicious forumer that generally posts on these boards (you know who you are).

Some thoughts on this:

Asellus' Cut Content
---

Some of these things actually seem kind of silly. Like the thing with Kurenai. It's just like, suddenly, nudity! Does that really add to the game? Also the stuff with Asellus asking Dr. Nusakan if she'd turn into a half-male. Er... what?

Cut areas
---

The cut Luminous buildings are sort of... their style doesn't really mesh with the rest of the game. I'm more prone to thinking these are less cut areas *per se* and more just old building graphics that were later redrawn.

Same for the cut Despair areas. Both of them also have this look like the rendering was really quick and without proper lighting applied.

As for the maps that are large but have a lot of inaccessible areas of off screen, it's possible that the amount of zoom and panning wasn't really known when they were being drawn, so the art team just had to extend it so there'd be a background, maybe.

""Mori" is the Japanese word for "Forest", but this does nothing but introduce more mysteries. "

This is short for Memento Mori. That statue is a grave.

"The woman at the shrine in Devin will give you information about Time and Space magic if asked. However, you can also ask her to "draw a sacred lot", at which she always responds that she's "sold out". This never changes at any point in any chapter, so the significance of this is unknown."

Reference to some Japanese fortune telling thing I don't understand. Pretty sure this NEVER was supposed to serve a purpose.

Anyway.

I'm sort of surprised the webpage doesn't show anything more substantial. All the unused areas it mentions, to me, really just look like area graphics that were either redrawn later or just axed because they looked bad (The futuristic train things..?). Why they're actually in the production build is a mystery, but...

I think asellus' original scenario might cause technical difficulties had they implemented in final version. If Asellus escaped through Kurenai, then how she supposed to return to Facinaturu after the dark labyrinth event? The developer prohibits Asellus' access to facinaturu through Virgil so she cant go to facinaturu by completing magic quest. It could also technical problem if she is able to return to facinaturu before the plot advanced further.

Still, I'm curious about the purpose of mori statue. I think they are originally gate to Hell, but It's just my random guess.

I wonder if the MORI statues have something to do with Blue's original ending, in that sense, maybe. Like, you said gates to hell, right? What if they led to wherever void it was Blue got himself stuck in? Just a thought.

there is still missing Mori room in that page, there is one location of Mori statue in space and a slime stands in the bubble warp, I dont know what will happen if you talk to the slime though.

sorry for the double post, my guess was right. Use the 8001300C 031D and you will be warped to Mori statue with slime, if you talk to the slime you will be warped to Hell or returned to the ruined magic kingdom. It seems the developer intended to use this area as buffer zone before the player entered the Hell.
