Since my beliefs change a lot (many times depending on my mood) I also quite often believe a God put us here but isn't caring about us at all, and therefore, ignoring everything we say to him/her. I can't ever be religious just because I can't pick anything! haha.
I'll tell you what though, my dad's girlfriend has a Catholic sister and brother-in-law, and they are absolutely wonderful people and I'd defend them any day. They don't really ever come out and talk about religion for discussions, but it's known. I think that's why it's important not to make a big deal about beliefs. Everyone seems to believe what they want, and that's cool with me (as long as it doesn't involve the belief in the killing of innocent folks). Just certain things I learn as I grow older.
Well anyway, happy birthday Jesus, if you did exist at one time, and if you're paying attention to me. :)
Actually, Christmas was just a concession from the Christians to appease some other religious group that celebrated their deity's birthday on Dec. 25. Its been quite a long time since history classes so forgive me for not knowing more details. Anyways, Easter is the celebration of the birth of Jesus. Christmas is nothing more than present time.
