I have beliefs that are really strange. Just the fact that millions of people on the planet have all sorts of different beliefs makes it very difficult for me to believe in any one of them, if that makes any sense. I mean, one person could easily be wrong, and the next person with a different belief could also easily be wrong, and it just keeps going. I don't know how I can pick one belief and sit here and devote all my time believing in that one thing. I guess I'm a weirdo! :)
I forgot to add something else to this line- "I don't know how I can pick one belief and sit here and devote all my time believing in that one thing". I wanted to say after that "It would be like telling me to color in a coloring book but only giving me one crayon".
I never understood why you have to go to church to believe in God/pray. I mean, think about it. It's just a building! I don't have any problem with people believing in whatever they want, but sometimes I don't think people are looking at the bigger picture, which is some kind of proof that God exists. I know people say "Well there IS proof, there's grass, clouds, the sky, rain, snow, the sun, etc". But I think I need God him/herself to come right up to me and say "Hey you, the Quake II fan (PS version). It's me, it's God!" :)
I'm also not quite sure why God would care if some insiginifant creatures whined to him daily about their problems. The whole basis of religion is idiotic if you ask me. Its no better than believing in Superman.
