No, at least those aspects alone are not rare on a gray cartridge. I believe there are very rare gray ones that have that and certain other things, though. The most major of those is that you can do the steal the rod glitch more easily, and on the more minor side there are more text errors.
I think all of those things are supposed to be on the gray cartridge, since that's the original release of the game.
Also I should point out that every other release of OoT does not have red blood, cresent moon symbols, ect. This includes the gold cartridge, both gamecube versions, the VC version, and most rom files.

Sorry but you have that right except for the gold cartridge part and the grey being the original release. The gold cartridge is actually the earliest version of the game usually called version 1.0, these were only preorder. It has all the glitches and red blood, cresent moon, and chanting. Some grey carts had these things because it was v 1.1 and I believe that that is actually the rarer of the cartridges. Later, they made grey carts of v 1.2 with all the changes you see in all the rereleases.

oh that's right, thanks for reminding me of that. I always forget about that.
Go to the fishing pond, put on hover boots, walk over the water and try to cast the rod while the hover boots are active. If it works and you can walk around with it cast, yes you do. Otherwise no.
Stupid question, but how do you know which version you have? I always thought it said on the cart itself but that is not the case. I just looked at it.
