Dark Whisper's MAX base damage, at it's strongest, if I'm doing the math right, isn't even half as strong as Rafalak's moves (assuming MA Up and Mime levels.) Reis's Holy Breath can outdamage it easily as well.

Even if we consider that Rafalak's Truth/Un-Truth fires an average of 3.5 times, it still outdamages Dark Whisper. As far as I can tell, a level 99 Tiamat will have 30 MA at best, making the Dark Whisper do (a lousy) 450 damage X6.

I'm sure this is old news to some, but it's just recently come to my attention so I figured I'd share.

Always hits 6 times. Can add Dead or Sleep too.

Don't have Tiamat 99 stats here atm...

Rafalak hit from 1-6, for an average of 3.5 hits. Space Storage can add Sleep, Darkness, Slow, Poison, Silence, Confusion, or Frog, too.

450 X 6 = 2700

Mime leveled Wizard Rafa with Magic Attack Up and best equipment = 32 MA
If I'm mathing it right, Space Storage will do 798. 798 X 3.5 = 2793

(I believe I am indeed mathing everything correctly, but I'm very new at this "calculating exact damage from scratch" stuff so I'm worried haha ^.^

What situation are you expecting, exactly, where that isn't enough damage?

Dark Whisper has V0. Rafalak abilities have V2.

So unless your target is standing on some absurdly shifty ground that DW will hit a lot more often, on average, than Rafalak.

Not to mention it has a good chance of hitting only once or twice which may not be lethal anyway (if it even hits the same target), depending on Zodiac. Dark Whisper is much more reliable.

Dead is also plain better than all of those status effects, barring maybe Frog.

Incidentally a Tiamat can benefit greatly from Dragon Levelup, since a nanny is obviously standing there with monster skill it might as well be the best nanny.

This...the difference between Triple Flame and Rafa is V0-2. ..although this whole topic seems odd and perhaps trollish. Nonetheless, Dark Whisper is good to great. The problem is that it requires Monster Skill to use, which impractical, particularly given that a Tiamat can fry things just fine without Monster Skill.
