I finished another run of the first Resident Evil on PS1 today (such a classic), and then I noticed Dino Crisis idly sitting around, having never been seriously played.
Are there any beginner tips? I don't remember too much of this game other than it was seriously hard, and from reading up about it, apparently has quite a few unlockables.
While I could just grab a save from somewhere to run through the game with infinite ammo, I would much rather earn it myself and create some lasting memories with it, now in 2018, 19 years after the game first came out. I dig old stuff still, so yo I'm excited!
I'll get to playing it in the next hour, so I might miss the next post in this thread, but no worries; I will definitely start a second playthrough after making it as far as I can on my first attempt so I can do it better and get further on the second try...!
Also general Dino Crisis discussion thread!
Please be mindful and hide spoilers with the appropriate tag. Thanks :)
I practiced Easy mode a bit before finishing the game, but it still took me much longer than I wanted it to because dinosaurs were being a pest ^^" I'm going to enjoy the playthrough where I kill everything with infinite ammo weapons :^)
Sometimes, just knowing that someone else is playing a game can motivate :)
It seems that it doesn't matter which difficulty the game is being played on, as unlockables are apparently not dependent on it. If that's the case, I just might skip out on Normal (it depends how much I still feel like playing).
The current goal has been changed from beating Normal to getting all three endings on Easy. I could see myself going for Normal once I've done a few complete Easy runs.
That said, I've mostly been playing Dino Crisis 2 for the last two days, so that has me distracted from the first game ^^"
