1a. Freezeazy Peak only had shallow water

1b. Hailfire Peaks only has shallow water

2a. Freezeazy Peak had an unused water variant of the main song

2b. Hailfire Peaks uses its water variant in the lava part of the world

3. Boggy is featured in both worlds

4a. Gobi is found in the lava side of Hailfire Peaks which is the counterpart to the ice side

4b. Gobi is found in Gobi's Valley which is the counterpart to Freezeazy Peak in the first game as they are the only levels you get the choice between and must backtrack to

5. They also both have Peak in their name!

I could be wrong about this, but they might both be the first levels Chinkers (the ice block enemies) appear in.

This is also correct. Another similarity would be that they both appear in the final world of each game (Click Clock Wood Winter and Cloud Cuckoo Land)
