To be brief, I lost my internet connection in the middle of a few event matches, and each time I logged back in, the match was counted as won. Even my hundredth trophy was acknowledged. If Tecmo Koei has the ability to look in on a player's progress, I'd rather not make it look like I'm gaming the system. What do you guys think? Should I sit the rest of the event out and not arouse suspicion?

I think the developers made it look that way. If you're in the middle in the middle of a match and the connection is lost, that match is counted as a win. Technically, the developers have the ability to look in on a player's progress but because of the huge number of players, probably thousands, they chose not to.
