Does Mario Maker 3DS perform worse on the original 3DS?

I watched a video review that showed a lot of slowdown using the New Super Mario Bros layout on the original 3DS. Dunno if this is on the N3DS.

I imagine quality control is lower, and/or more slowdowns on the 3DS than there is on any N3DS

I've been using it on the Original 3DS and only noticed frame drop if there is a lot of stuff on screen, only to the point when the screen is almost filled up with stuff on every tile though, only seen the frame drop this way on New Super Mario Bros. U though

Yes but heard it's only noticeable in really busy stages.

You can actually make the framerate drop a bunch on the NSMBU and SMW templates even on N3DS if you go nuts and fill every tile with coins, max out on hammer bros stacks, put in three bowser's and have the max amount of mushrooms rain down from the sky...all on one screen of course.

I want to test this stage on O3DS just to see how bad the framerate is....could make it worse by adding some effects like that falling rubble one I bet...
